I want to make this clear: I don't foresee a 2014 Virginia Tech-style upset for Ohio State next Saturday. But what I do want people to understand is that Luke Fickell and company will be trying like absolute hell to recreate exactly what happened that night, probably right down to the same defensive gameplan.

Oh, we talk about the FAU game on today's Dubcast. Beau and I really enjoyed it, and discuss the ups and downs of having sky-high expectations for Justin Fields and Ryan Day. And we look at the national picture and answer some great Ask Us Anything questions (which you can do via e-mail and Twitter).

But really: the Cincinnati game is paramount. If there's such thing as a must-win game in the second game of a coaching tenure, this is it. Mostly for me personally.

If you enjoy me waxing poetic about why I will try and avoid literally millions of people in the southwestern Ohio region should the Buckeyes somehow lose this game, don't forget to rate and subscribe on iTunes, Google Podcasts, or Spotify.

0:00 Ohio State isn't ready to take on the big dogs quite yet. But there were some encouraging signs on Saturday that suggests they'll get there.

14:32 Oh dear sweet Lord in heaven we need to trash the 'Nati next weekend.

31:04 A look at the national scene and some Ask Us Anything! Michigan is dumb. The End.

And that'll do it! Thanks to you for listening and checking out our Dry Goods store, thanks as always to Travis for our cool cool logo, and we'll see you next week!
