Basketball is bad, Tate is in Miami blah blah blah whatever.

Rex Kern is here, folks. A true gentleman, PhD, one of the greatest Buckeyes of all time, and a witness to some pretty incredible Ohio State (and American) history, Kern joins us on the Dubcast this week in a wide-ranging interview.

When I set this up about a week ago, I asked the rest of the staff at 11W for potential questions that they wanted to ask Rex, and I think that I should be able to satisfy their inquiries and yours. Especially notable is Rex confirming that the Super Sophs of '68 were just as tough and ornery as freshman in '67, but that's a story that you're going to just have to hear for yourself.

Rex and I also talk about Jim Stillwagon almost getting kicked off the team, his thoughts on how football in general has changed over the years, and the Ohio State riot of 1970. It's all amazing stuff, and I really recommend that you give it a listen.

And if you enjoyed that, don't forget to keep sending in those Ask Us Anything questions (via e-mail or Twitter) and to rate and subscribe to us on iTunes or Google Podcasts!

0:00 Tate! Tate Tate Tate Tate. Tathan. He's going to enjoy Miami.

24:34 Hello to Rex Kern! Seriously, I can't say enough about how gracious and engaging Mr. Kern is. He's a terrific guy.

50:49 Ask Us Anything braves the frozen tundra, and we get into some Game of Thrones talk!

And that'll do it for this week. As always, thanks to Travis for our logo, thanks to you for listening and checking out our Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next time!
