LeBron James is probably the greatest basketball player of all time. I grew up watching Michael Jordan in his prime, so I'll listen to arguments to the contrary (as long as you don't say Wilt or something dumb like that), but the point is that he's a singular cultural force unlike the state of Ohio has ever seen in basketball. And yes, I'm fully aware of who Jerry Lucas is, as a kid I played basketball on the same neighborhood court he did decades before.

On the Dubcast this week, we talk about how Ohio State and the state of Ohio have benefitted from their relationship to LeBron James, and what comes next. LeBron, who we still believe is legitimately a Buckeye football fan, got to establish his Ohio bonafides and give a boost to his image, while Ohio State got to brag about its relationship with one of the most important athletes of all time.

Plus! Urban makes inroads into the GCL down in Cincinnati (something I happen to know at least a little about), and Ask Us Anything, which you can do either via e-mail or Twitter!

Also, a nice little announcement: if you use Google Podcasts on Android or otherwise, you can check us out there by searching for "Dubcast." And as always, go ahead and rate and subscribe on iTunes if you are so inclined.

0:00 LeBron James, LeBron James, LeBron James... LeBron James!

15:40 Urban is rolling down Cincy way, and kicking some ass in recruiting. It's about time.

20:17 Ask Us Anything! Keeping with the Cincinnati theme, could it be that the best college basketball analog to the Ohio State football program in the 2010's is... the University of Kentucky???

And that'll do it for the Dubcast this week! Thanks to Travis for our logo, thanks to you for checking out our Dry Goods store, and we'll see you guys next time. Enjoy the 4th!
