At one point in our interview with Kyle Snyder this week, he mentions that he wants to (is going to) "destroy Iowa" on Sunday. If he were literally any other human on earth, I'd take that statement with at least a little bit of a grain of salt, but... it's Kyle Snyder. He's the best pound-for-pound wrestler on the planet, and if he says that he's going to destroy someone or something or somewhere, then I 100% expect him to pull out the Infinity Gauntlet and get it done.
Our very own Andy Vance is filling in for Beau this week, and in a wide-ranging interview, we ask Kyle about a whole host of questions, including his favorite all time match, his take on what has made Ohio State so great (he literally calls the 2017-2018 team possibly the greatest squad ever assembled on the planet), and what his plans are for life after college. It's an awesome interview, and I highly recommend that you check it out.
The real moral of the story here is that YOU NEED TO GET TO THE DUAL WITH IOWA ON SUNDAY AT 3:30 AT THE SCHOTT AND WHITE IT OUT. It is your last time to see Kyle Snyder and the rest of the Buckeyes this season, and they're going up against one of the most storied wrestling programs of all time. You'd be insane to miss it.
0:00 Ah, that's right. Basketball. Ohio State is ranked after looking good for damn near a month now. Plus, Andy gives us a little wrestling primer.
22:28 This is a crazy, wide ranging interview that I recommend you get every word of tattooed on your face, but in lieu of that, make sure that you pay close attention to Kyle describing his grueling schedule over the next few weeks. Plus, MMA or wrestling? Find out what Kyle wants to do with his future after he graduates.
40:46 Some more Snyder love and Ask Us Anything! How much of a douche should you be to Michigan fans while on a trip? Probably a lot. But it's wise to practice restraint. Sometimes.
And that is the Dubcast this week! Thanks for listening and checking out our Dry Goods store, thanks to Travis for our super cool logo, and thanks again to Kyle Snyder for coming on. We'll see you next week!
