Yesterday, I learned that Rutgers has the No. 11 basketball team in the country and I'm not sure I'm ready for that reality. Thankfully, Chris Holtmann and co are gonna change that this afternoon.

Word of the Day: Furor.

THE MORE THINGS CHANGE... In a year where nothing at all has gone according to plan and everything's been as unpredictable as it gets, it's nice to have a little consistency to fall back on.

Once again, Buckeyes are the kings of the Big Ten. And as usual, the rewatch is glorious.

Also, I love Fitz with the "go win it all" at the end. The dude is lowkey harder to hate than Gandhi.

TATE TUSSLES WITH HARDEN. A gritty rookie notorious for his high motor and effort practices against an overweight superstar who's in the midst of demanding a trade.

You'll never guess what happens next!

That's gotta be the first time in his life Harden's ever thrown a ball in the direction of his teammates. It's no wonder he missed.

ON TO THE NEXT ONE? Once the Buckeyes defenestrate Clemson like we're living in 17th century Bohemia, another challenger (let's be real, it's Bama) awaits.

Ohio State ain't gonna be looking ahead – they've waited way too long to see a Tiger head on a pike for that. But Vegas sure is.

A double-digit dog, you say? Damn, the Buckeyes don't even have to invent any disrespect these days. The whole world is a bulletin board.

HOW 'BOUT THAT 2014 CLASS? I don't have many fond memories of the late Thad Matta days, but maybe I should. Because it turns out, there were multiple NBA players on those teams.

I think my mind grades Thad Matta on his 2015 and 2016 classes, which is entirely fair! But that 2014 class was pretty gas, in hindsight.

At his best, Matta could recruit with the best of them – minus, of course, all the stuff you typically have to do to recruit with the best of them.

SONG OF THE DAY. "Love Crashed into the World" by Crossroads.
