A dominant win yet again.

It took a little while for Ohio State's offense to wake up in what will very likely be Ohio State's final home game of the season, but in the end, it was yet another blowout win for the Buckeyes, taking down Rutgers on Senior Day.

OSU scored a touchdown in each of its final four possessions of the game to win handily, as five different Buckeyes scored on Saturday.

Let's take a look at some Proof Points from Ohio State's win over Rutgers to advance to 11-0 on the season:

66 Rushing Yards

Ohio State's defense is dominant; we already knew that. The Silver Bullets proved that yet again against Rutgers. After holding Rutgers to just 66 yards on the ground, this season's version of the Buckeyes' defense has now done something that has never been done before in program history, as OSU has now held 10 straight opponents to less than 100 rushing yards.

Overall, the Scarlet Knights had a top-40 offense entering the game and were held to just 147 total yards and nine points.

Not only did OSU dominate against the run, but Rutgers – who had a top-25 passing attack entering the day – only had 81 yards through the air, as Athan Kaliakmanis completed just 10 of 20 passes in the game.

Caden Curry led the way for the defense, with a team-high six tackles (two for loss) and two sacks, including a strip sack followed by an impressive scoop by the senior that was very close to a touchdown.

19 for 110 and 2

Bo Jackson has certainly taken advantage of the lackluster run defenses Ohio State has played the last two games. That, paired with the Buckeyes' improved performance up front on the offensive line, has resulted in two dominant performances by OSU's rushing attack.

The freshman finished with 19 carries for 110 yards and two touchdowns against Rutgers, his second straight 100-yard rushing game and third time in the last four games overall.

As a team, the Buckeyes finished with 254 rushing yards on 38 carries, their second most of the season (274 rushing yards vs. Grambling State).

7 for 105 and 1

Without Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate, Max Klare was Julian Sayin's favorite target on Saturday. The tight end finished with seven catches for 105 yards and a touchdown, the first two of which were season-highs for Klare.

With Tate missing his third straight game, Klare has now had at least five receptions in three straight games, becoming a valuable weapon for Sayin and Ohio State's offense.

Not only did Klare become the first OSU tight end to have five-plus catches in three straight games since 2000, but it's just the sixth time since at least 1960 – and first time since 2013 (Jeff Heuerman) – that an Ohio State tight end has had 100-plus receiving yards in a game, joining Heuerman, Rickey Dudley (1995) and John Frank (three times in 1983).
