Records: Saint Denis (17-3-0) | Pimblett (23-4-0)
Saint Denis is coming off a Round 2 KO/TKO at UFC 325 against Dan Hooker last time out on Jan. 31. He has 4 consecutive victories since TKO - Doctor's Stoppage loss against Renato Moicano in a main event fight night bout on Sept. 28, 2024. He has 2 wins via submission, and 2 victories by way of KO/TKO, in the 4-bout win streak.
Pimblett is looking to rebound after a unanimous-decision loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC 324 in a title bout, as "The Baddy" came up just a bit short in his championship bid. He had been 7-0 in his first 7 UFC fights, winning 3 times via submission, twice by way of KO/TKO, and 2 times via unanimous decision.
Both fighters check in with a 73-inch reach. The southpaw Saint Denis has an ever-so-slight 5.62-to-5.49 significant strikes landed per minute advantage. UFC 329: Saint Denis vs. Pimblett picks and predictions
Fight result (2-way line or moneyline)
Pimblett was on the fast track to a championship shot, but a loss to Gaethje has been falling back in line. He is about to get shuffled down the deck ever further, as SAINT DENIS (-140) is the play to get the win straight up.
Saint Denis is a tough customer, and he has been a stoppage machine. In all of the key metrics, the arrow points to Saint Denis, especially in the takedown department.
Over/Under
UNDER 2.5 ROUNDS (-165) is not priced out of line, but AVOID going with No (-225): Fight to go the distance, as the latter is just too expensive.
In addition, if you like the favorite, taking SAINT DENIS BY KO/TKO, DQ OR SUBMISSION (+125) on the 5-way line in method of victory is a solid value at plus-money.

Paddy Pimblett vs. Benoit Saint Denis UFC 329 expert pick, prediction
The co-main event for UFC 329 features a lightweight showdown between Benoit Saint-Denis and Paddy Pimblett.
Although I initially came into this fight leaning toward Saint Denis, I ended up being swayed to the Pimblett side of things.
I've been wrong about Saint Denis before, and I applaud both him and his newfound head coach, Nicolas Ott, for the winning streak the Frenchman finds himself on. However, when looking back at the tape, Saint Denis still shows a lot of the striking holes that have plagued him in the past.
Pimblett is certainly no standard for technique, but the scouser has an awkward rhythm that gives fighters at all levels issues. Add in Pimblett's insane opportunistic sensibilities and stupid durability, and I can't help but see the English fighter capitalize on the first few Saint Denis mistakes.
The official pick is for Pimblett to force a stoppage via strikes in Round 2.
