Ohio State didn't look all that great early - playing without superstar wide receivers Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate - but it eventually found footing and pummeled Rutgers in the run game on the way to a 42-9 win that pushed the Buckeyes' season record to a perfect 11-0.
And hey, that's really cool so don't take it for granted. BUT, the real season starts next Saturday as Ohio State heads to Ann Arbor to tangle with That Team Up North at high noon in the Big House.
But before we become completely immersed in all things The Game, let's check out the social media reactions to another OSU victory and other happenings across the college football landscape.
THE NEWS JJ AND TATE WOULDN'T PLAY WASN'T A SURPRISE BUT STILL CREATED ANGST FOR TODAY AND BEYOND
