Dominance...again.

Much like last week, Saturday's game was never in doubt for Ohio State. Unlike last week, the Buckeyes scored on their first possession of the game and never looked back. In the end, OSU beat UCLA in yet another dominant performance.

Ohio State scored on all five of its possessions in the first half – three touchdowns and two field goals – in a game that plenty of players were able to receive valuable snaps.

Let's take a look at some Proof Points from the Buckeyes' win over the Bruins to advance to 9-0 on the season:

15 For 112 and 1, 8 for 61 and 1, 6 for 42 and 2

Going into Saturday night's game, UCLA's defense allowed 191.1 rushing yards per game (123rd in the FBS) and 5.03 yards per carry (128th). It seemed like a game that Ohio State could take advantage of the Bruins' run defense, or lack thereof.

The Buckeyes certainly did so throughout the game. Bo Jackson led the way, with 112 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. It was the freshman's second 100-yard rushing game in the last three games. Even when he didn't have the ball, Jackson showed off his ability as a pass-blocker while picking up opposing blitzers as well.

Fellow freshman Isaiah West also showed off his running ability, finishing with eight carries for a career-high 61 yards and a score.

Not to be outdone, James Peoples had one of his best games of the season and also one of the most impressive touchdowns of the year for Ohio State.

The sophomore made the most of his six carries, running for 42 yards and two touchdowns, one in which he jumped over a UCLA defender while not losing stride and went in for the score.

15 Years

While Lorenzo Styles, Jr. is used to making plays on defense, the cornerback's biggest play against UCLA came on special teams.

Following UCLA's first score of the game near the end of the third quarter, Styles returned the following kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown. It was Ohio State's first kickoff returned for a score since Jordan Hall did so in 2010.

He not only did that, but also finished with five tackles, as Lorenzo and his brother, Sonny (seven tackles), led the Buckeyes in that category Saturday night.

68 Rushing Yards

Much like they have been all season, the Silver Bullets were all over the field against the Bruins, as Ohio State's defense dominated in almost all areas.

The Buckeyes allowed UCLA to run for only 68 yards on 25 carries, a lousy 2.7 yards per carry.

Ohio State has now held its opponents to fewer than 100 rushing yards in all nine games this season.

Although the Bruins were without Nico Iamaleava, as the dual-threat quarterback was forced to miss the game due to a concussion, OSU still kept UCLA's offense in check outside of one touchdown drive late in the third quarter.
