It was quite the Saturday for people named Caden (or Kayden).
Ohio State’s defense held Washington out of the end zone during its 24-6 victory over the Huskies on Saturday, largely thanks to the efforts of defensive linemen Caden Curry and Kayden McDonald. Curry tied the Ohio State single-game record with five tackles for loss, while adding a trio of sacks and 11 tackles, and McDonald added seven tackles — three for loss — and two sacks in the win.
Despite a slow start offensively, quarterback Julian Sayin settled in for a solid performance in his first start away from the comforts of Ohio Stadium. Sayin went 22-for-28 for 208 yards and two touchdowns.
While the Buckeyes moved to 4-0 with their win over Washington, there were also several other enticing matchups around college football that turned heads.
Let’s take a look at how social media reacted to Ohio State’s victory in Seattle and the day in college football.

Cool moment as Matt Patricia comes out of no nowhere to congratulate Kayden McDonald on his two sack, three TFL performance against Washington. Also his seven tackles were second most on the team, which is saying something for an interior defensive lineman@nbc4i pic.twitter.com/CA3F16ul3b
