TreVeyon Henderson’s first snap in an NFL uniform couldn’t have gone any better.
On the very first play of his preseason debut on Friday night, the former Ohio State running back scored a 100-yard kickoff return touchdown, showcasing the same speed and big-play ability that made him a star in Columbus for the past four years.

He followed that touchdown up with an 18-yard run as well as three catches for 12 yards later in the first quarter.

Henderson, who the New England Patriots selected with the No. 38 overall pick in this year’s NFL draft, has drawn rave reviews for his playmaking ability throughout training camp. With the way his preseason debut against the Washington Commanders started Friday night, it’s safe to say he’ll be carrying plenty of hype into his rookie season.
