After a slow-moving first half, Ohio State turned it on after halftime on Saturday, taking down Maryland 37-17 at Ohio Stadium on Saturday.
Josh Proctor was a defensive standout for Ohio State, racking up five tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and one interception which he returned for a touchdown. Marvin Harrison Jr. dominated offensively despite playing with a banged-up ankle, catching eight passes for 163 yards and one touchdown.
Kyle McCord completed 19 of 29 passes for a career-high 320 yards and two touchdowns. Ohio State's defense also held Taulia Tagovailoa to under 200 yards passing, intercepted him twice and recorded three sacks.
