Ohio State jumped to No. 5 in the most recent AP Poll, released earlier today, but the fact that Alabama is sitting one spot ahead of them might make many of us wary as the playoff committee is about to release their final standings.

Possibly helping Ohio State's case is that Penn State (10-2) stayed in the top 10, and Wisconsin (12-1) is sitting pretty at No. 6, one spot ahead of Auburn (10-3). It's almost game time though, so we'll just have to wait and see!
