The Hurry Up is your nightly dose of updates from the Ohio State football recruiting trail, keeping tabs on the latest from commits and targets from around the country.

TWO MOORE

Jordan and Joshua Moore aren't identical twins, but the brothers both received matching scholarship offers from Ohio State on Thursday night.

The four-star prospects from Yoakum, Texas, each hold more than 20 offers from schools like Florida State, Houston, LSU, Michigan State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and UCLA

“It's huge. Ohio State is a special program. To get that offer means a lot,” Joshua Moore told Eleven Warriors. “What sticks out to me the most is just the way they win. They're a very successful program [and] they put every position in the NFL. Who wouldn't want that opportunity?”

The pair will be in attendance for Ohio State's showdown with Oklahoma this weekend, but plan on making a trip to Columbus this fall.

“[We're] really excited man. I can't wait,” Moore said.

Joshua Moore is considered the 9th-best player in Texas and the No. 13 receiver in the Class of 2018, while Jordan is the 28th-best player in the state and No. 19 safety overall. They also plan on playing together in college, but that's not set entirely in stone just yet.

WHEN IRISH EYES ARE SMILING

More news has been made about the list of attendees for this weekend's game at Oklahoma. But with Ohio State out of town, Notre Dame is set to host several of the Buckeye State's top prospects for their highly anticipated matchup with Michigan State.

Notably, Fairfield five-star lineman Jackson Carman will make his second trip to South Bend in as many weeks. The Buckeyes will be kicking themselves for years to come if they let Carman slip away.

He will be joined by fellow 2018 prospects Dallas Gant, four-star linebacker from Toledo St. John's Jesuit; Leonard Taylor, four-star tight end from Springfield; Tyreke Smith, four-star defensive end from Cleveland Heights; and Malik Vann, four-star defensive end from Fairfield.

Jacksonville, Florida, Trinity Christian five-star cornerback Shaun Wade — a 2017 Ohio State commit — will also be in attendance.

SPEAKING OF NOTRE DAME...

It was reported late last month that Cincinnati Winton Woods defensive tackle Jerron Cage would take an official visit to Notre Dame this fall, thus starting the rumor that the 6-foot-1, 275-pounder was contemplating a flip from Ohio State. He addressed that speculation with Cleveland.com on Thursday.

“I have a lot of love for Notre Dame, not just because of [my brother] Daniel, but because I like the environment as a whole,” Cage said. “But for my personal feeling, I think I'm going to stay at Ohio State. I'm a Buckeye. I committed early for a reason. If I felt like I needed to switch, I would have done it by now.”

Daniel Cage is a defensive lineman at Notre Dame, so the younger Cage spends a lot of time in South Bend, Indiana. He'll be there next weekend when the Fighting Irish host Duke.

“Everybody is trying to spin a story and make a buck,” Winton Woods head coach Andre Parker said. “I think that's kind of what happened with Jerron's situation. I have talked to both of his parents in-depth. I've talked with him, and we have a plan. We've had that plan set for two years.”

Cage is considered the 8th-best player in the state and the No. 12 defensive tackle overall in the Class of 2017. He is one of two defensive tackle pledges in the recruiting cycle, joining Las Vegas, Nevada, Bishop Gorman's Haskell Garrett.

PARTY IN THE CITY WHERE THE HEAT IS ON

Though he's the son of the late former Miami standout of the same name, Al Blades Jr. has made quite the name for himself at Fort Lauderdale, Florida, St. Thomas Aquinas.

The 6-foot, 170-pound corner, who once infamously threw up the “U” in the middle of Florida State's Doak Campbell Stadium, was committed to the Hurricanes for almost a year, but reopened his recruitment following the firing of Al Golden.

Blades has yet to secured a scholarship offer from Ohio State, but the Buckeyes have been in contact with the 7th-best corner in the Class of 2018 nonetheless.

Quarterback commit Emory Jones took the opportunity to do a little bit of recruiting himself, as well.

With his ties to the Miami program, it would be hard for Ohio State to pull him out of the Sunshine State if it were to offer. But it should be noted that he's the teammate of four-star corner Asante Samuel Jr., who included the Buckeyes in his Top 10 back in April.
