Portland Trailblazers swingman Evan Turner fractured the third metacarpal in his right hand Tuesday night during the third quarter of an eventual 114-113 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

Turner fractured his hand guarding Harrison Barnes off the ball, but led the ensuing fast break and dropped a left-handed dime to Al-Farouq Aminu for an easy two points.

After the game, which moved the Blazers to 23-30 overall, Turner responded in the most E.T. way possible:

Doctors across America purportedly spent Wednesday morning updating their professional lexicon.

As of this writing, there is no official word on how long Turner could miss, as it will depend on if he opts for surgery.

The Blazers are next in action Thursday when they host Turner's old team, the Boston Celtics, at 10:30 p.m ET.
