Across the Twitterverse: Review of the Week's Best Tweets

It's been a busy week in the world of Twitter. But in case you missed anything, I've gathered all of the week's best tweets from across campus.

Football Team Dunk Contest

Just in case you didn't hear already, the Ohio State football team skipped their final day of Mat Drills to participate in some pick-up basketball to show off their new kicks from LeBron.

I always knew these guys were athletic, but this brings that to a whole other level.

After both some impressive and extremely sad attempts, the dunk contest crown was awarded to freshman linebacker Malik Harrison.

Ironically, Penn State's football squad held their own dunk contest the next morning at their practice — but I can tell you it was extremely lame because that's just the Nittany Lion way.

Mainly because they don't have hype men like Jalyn Holmes and Jonathon Cooper.

Birthday Boys

This week we celebrate a few Ohio State birthdays, as Corey Smith, Michael Thomas and Devin Smith each received shoutouts from other Buckeyes about their day of birth.

One tweet event turned into a possible recruiting tool.

 Campus Collection

As another academic week here at The Ohio State University comes to a close, there were some great tweets out there — but here are the ones that made the cut.

Last Friday, it was a beautiful 70 degrees and sunny in Columbus, Ohio.

30 degrees, a tornado watch and a snow shower later, Mother Nature has found a way to confuse a number of Buckeyes — and left them questioning how this whole weather thing works.

Additionally, a few guys had some issues.

  Found new hobbies.

Went to the movies.

Collectively, however, a few Buckeyes left me wishing I knew the context of their tweets.

 Tweet(s) of the Week

This week, a few simple interactions and spelling errors between members of the Scarlet and Gray take the crown for the tweet(s) of the week.

The sass level is at an all time high.

But the spelling abilities are not.
