Thank you my fellow Daytonian for noticing the typo! You are a stand-up citizen.
Ah, that's a typo on my part. Too many Coreys for Ohio State lately, in my opinion, and it's throwing me off.
I think that game was so big for Jalin for so many reasons that it trumped the Dilly Bar Dash from J.T.
And yes, there's a t-shirt with that saying on it somewhere...don't remember where though.
I completely agree, that was such a huge play in a game where Ohio State was the underdog coming in and weren't expected to win. There were too many plays from 2014 to choose from! But look where the team ended up that year.
That was the third place finisher for 2014 for me, so very close to making the list. It was an iconic run by Barrett, and if he would've asked for a treat from Dilly Bar Dan after reaching the endzone, that would've put it on the list, in my opinion.
Thank you for the kind words, Hovenaut. I think Weber had it rough coming into his first season as a redshirt freshman last year because people immediately wanted him to be Zeke, and that's completely unfair expectations. An Ezekiel Elliot type back only comes around every so often, and Ohio State was lucky enough to have him.
Like you said, I also expect Weber to "grind it out and wear down opposing defenses" because he is much more of a power-back when he runs between the tackles. Just based on his social media, I think he's taken a lot of steps this offseason to becoming more shifty and quicker in those tight areas where he can break off runs instead of getting tackled by the shoestrings.
