You may find that work, school, or other obligations keep you from focusing on Twitter the way you should. Thankfully for you, I'm able to tune out those distractions and provide you with a weekly rundown of the best tweets from around campus.

It's that time of year where the absence of football serves as a reminder that we all have real lives, real responsibilities, real concerns, and real troubles.

It's finals week on campus, so I assure you, the players are feeling the same pain. We no longer have our Buckeye Saturdays and we're painfully forced back into reality.

But are we really?

We could just fill that void with something else completely meaningless and continue to ignore reality, which is why I've again compiled the week's best tweets for your reading enjoyment.

Shoutout to me for 1) Dominating my accounting final and 2) Never having to see Marc Smith again.

Although, Zeke also will never see him again because he's leaving school to make millions of dollars. I guess I should try to be a Division-I running back next time.

I'm not really sure exactly what this means, but I'm fairly certain I agree.

Are you going to be the brave soul who reminds her she doesn't? I'd wager against it.

I'm no expert, but I'm almost positive that's a $20 bill.

I see you Dontre. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. I'm right there with you.

Justin Bieber has always been great. If it's taken you this long to realize it, I feel sorry for you.

Currently, there is no actual evidence that the beard has been shaved. We will continue to follow this story as it develops.

Shout-out to Ohio State walk-on Joey Lane for scoring his first career points Tuesday night against Air Force.

Outside Looking In

If you thought the College Football Playoff's Selection Sunday felt quite a bit different this season, you're not alone. The players felt it too.

Winter is Coming

Torrance Gibson, from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, has never seen snow. In fact, I'd venture to say he's never felt temperatures below 40 degrees. Winter is coming and, evidently, he thinks he's ready.

He's going to love it for about a month, but we'll check back in on Mr. Gibson in February when he wakes up to an unexpected fresh blanket and realize he still has to walk to class. Also, I'm willing to bet those hoverboards don't do too well on ice and snow.

Follow Friday:

  • Jerome Baker @Lastname_Baker
  • Jeff Svoboda @JeffSvoboda Jeff is the former editor of the Buckeye Sports Bulletin and is now the web editor at The Toledo Blade. He's certainly worth a follow.
