I've never been able to upload YouTube videos successfully and I can't figure it out.  I try going incognito and desktop for the specific long-form link not the youtu.be link that doesn't work. 

Example. Wanted to link to "nice to know you" by Incubus for somebody's political post on the way out.  Here is the YouTube link:

When I try and paste it into the YouTube entry box it gives me an update that I must include an embed code, even though they're supposed to be either/or.  The only way it lets me proceed is if I put the URL in as the embed code and it results in this:

Solved via bucks2k18 suggestion below. Delete and retype the last letter of the url if its not working like above
