Lots of shots at The Commissioner right now but is it possible he looks at his conference and sees a champion that lost by 29 to a .500 also-ran less than two months ago and a runner-up that lost 3 OOC contests & finished with 5 losses and has concluded that a(nother) playoff debacle is entirely possible & so has decided that a Rose Bowl berth is actually a pretty good deal under the circumstances seeing as how just about everyone (I think) can agree this wasn't a great year for the Big Ten?
