During busy times like today, we receive emails from members asking where their forum topics went. Why were they deleted?

Moderators will very rarely delete a topic, but only for a handful of reasons:

• It's a dupe of another recent topic
• It violates the commenting policy
• It lacks substance – a link only or a few words

More often than not, topics are removed from voting by other members. You can upvote and downvote forum topics and if a topic falls below -10 in voting, it's automatically deleted from the system.
