Not sure if there are enough hockey fans to warrant interest but this is THE story of the day here in Chicago today. Predictably, the fraternity of Hawks fans have already started circling the wagons in defense of the hockey's ultimate bro. I really hope the narrative is right here. The initial reaction will be concern for the young man's career if the accusations are indeed groundless, when the correct and most immediate concern should be for the sake of the young woman making the accusation.

The Chicago Blackhawks rival the Kremlin in their willingness to pass information on so unless someone breaks it first, there is going to be nothing from the organization.

This is an incredibly sad story but it did get me thinking-is this the biggest star relative to his sport to face this since Kobe?
