After playing in the American Bowl earlier this week, Ethan Onianwa is getting another opportunity to impress NFL scouts on a bigger stage.
The Senior Bowl announced Saturday that Onianwa has accepted an invitation to play in its all-star game, which will be played next Saturday in Mobile, Alabama (2:30 p.m., NFL Network).

Picking up a Senior Bowl invitation suggests that Onianwa impressed scouts with his performance at the American Bowl, making them want to get another look at Onianwa against more highly touted prospects in Mobile.
They have good reason to want another look at Onianwa. While he was projected as a potential top-100 pick when he transferred to Ohio State from Rice last offseason, he ended up playing only 96 snaps as a backup tackle and guard for the Buckeyes. A good week at the Senior Bowl, however, could give him a shot to be a late-round draft pick despite his disappointing year in Columbus.
Onianwa joins former Ohio State cornerback Davison Igbinosun on the Senior Bowl roster.
