We all have heard about how BYU set up an NIL deal to pay tuition for walk-on players.  Should the buckeyes start something like this?  We could use it for those in state players who need time to develop but really want to be buckeyes. (Out of state player are welcome, but you get the idea.) Instead of going to Bowling Green/Miami(OH)/Akron/etc bring them in knowing they will be redshirting and giving them time with our strength and conditioning program for 2 or 3 years. 

We could also use these spots for situational players.  Go and get that big, oversized DT that is a run plugger.  We seem like we don’t usually waste a scholarship on a guy like this. That 5’7 WR or RB that has 4.3 speed that could be uses as a returner.  Those players listed as athletes that can play several positions and add depth.

This could help with recruiting misses and transfers some years. Just using 2023 as a starting point.

*** Jordan Hall a big OT that needs some work but take one look at this kid and tell me you wouldn’t want him.  3 years from now he could start or at least add good depth if we miss on high profile OT’s.

*** Marcus Moore a big DT that could be used as a run stopper
