Whether or not the rumors about Mike Yurcich are true, I wish him nothing but the best, especially over the next two weeks.
But assuming he does land in Austin, Texas, do you have any rumors or suggestions for a replacement?
For kicks, I'll toss out one name: QB guru Quincy Avery, who's famously mentored Deshaun Watson, Dwayne Haskins, and Justin Fields, to name a few, which certainly wouldn't hurt his ability to recruit QBs into the program.
Granted, I can't speak to Avery's interest in such a position (though I suspect it might be a pay upgrade), much less his play-calling abilities (if any), but if nothing else, he wouldn't knock heads with Kevin Wilson and Ryan Day.
Meanwhile, what are your thoughts?
