I know I'm not the only one guilty of it. I know a lot of you will tell me that of course you knew this: but I bet a lot of you didn't even realize that Dobbins had 4 rushing TD's against scum. And in fact, youtube recommended me some highlights of Dobbins against scum, which I clicked, and I was shocked: Not only in the fact that he put up 4 TD's on scUM but just how truly great of a running back this guy is when you pay attention to him.
I personally did not come away from that last scum game with the impression that JK had such a dominant performance. He also passed Zeke for 2nd leading rusher ever in OSU history during the scum game (I believe). We are lucky, folks. We've happened to have had two once-in-a-generation type backs in a row. The top 5 OSU backs in history at this point goes:

Anyway, I guess my point is that I find Dobbins is almost criminally under-appreciated. And again, maybe it's just me not paying close enough attention to people talking about him, but you've got him putting up 4 rushing TD's and 211 yard performances against scum and nobody even really talking about it (at least they I've seen). I don't remember (although there may have been one) the "Dobbins Dominates scUM with 4 Rushing Touchdowns" headline here on 11W.

Anyway, point is J.K. Dobbins is a beast with the best individual performance against scum in the the Urban/Day era (and probably further back). Also did not know that J.T. Barrett once was our leading rusher in a scUM game - that's interesting. Also point is, I feel like J.K. doesn't get the love he deserves around here. Not at all recency bias - truly my favorite back at OSU since I began watching as a young buck -- now just in front of Zeke & Beanie.
