I know the game next week in Indianapolis is a big deal but it pales in comparison to winning the National Championship. From what I’ve heard, Fields in re-aggravating his MCL injury has a recovery time of 2-3 weeks. If that is the case, then wouldn’t it be smart for us to bring forth the ncaa version of “load management” for fields. (1) We have already proven to be a better team than Wisconsin, (2) We don’t have to win the game to make the playoffs - even more so if the committee sees that we rested our best player, and (3) I’m not so sure we don’t beat Wiscy with Chug running the offense. Thoughts?
