It wasn’t a blowout win but we did take down the #8 team in the country.  We all know the final CFP ranking is the most important one but LSU did jump Ohio State 2 weeks ago by beating a ranked team when we blew out Maryland 73-14 (and as bad as Maryland is they would take Arkansas to the woodshed).  I think next Tuesday’s rankings will tell us a lot about what the committee is thinking.  I do feel that this is the year that having the number 1 seed would be truly advantageous. If I’m being perfectly honest I want no part of Clemson in the semifinal.
