The broadcasters are from TTUN.  They get about as emotional as one can in calling a difficult loss.  

Aa much as I still enjoy watching this after all these years, I will confess to feeling some empathy for the kicker because he is a Vietnam vet who could have won The Game in both ‘73 and ‘74 but missed all three critical attempts (although there was a bit of controversy over whether he missed in ‘74 because the uprights were so short back then).  I have nothing but respect for Mike Lantry.

In any case, this is a fantastic snippet of vintage footage from one of the best games—and best endings—in rivalry history.
