I am looking at Joe Burrow and his coming games. I cannot imagine him putting up 400 yard games vs Arkansas or Texas A&M. With the Tua's injury, Burrow will likely throw for 200 yards and sit out the second half. Then Burrow still has a big game vs Georgia who has a really good defense. If by some strange reason Burrow throws for 5 picks and loses one of those games then someone else might have a shot at the Heisman.
Remember Tua last year. Everyone crowned him the Heisman and then he has a game where he throws 2 picks and only 164 yards vs Georgia. Kyler Murray plays lights out in his championship game and claims the Heisman.
Suppose Fields accounts for 400 yards and 5 to 6 touchdowns VS Penn State, TTUN and Wisconsin/Minnesota. If Fields has those numbers and Burrow walks to the finish line, we could have a repeat of a last minute Heisman winner.
Tell me what you think? It ain't over till the fat lady sings.
