I mean, let's face it. We all thought the same thing, well this non conference schedule is awful and will do us no favors if we drop a game. Preseason this was the case, I mean FAU, Cincinnati, and Miami Ohio. It was borderline gross and shameful. However, 10 weeks into the season, it actually is looking like Ohio St non conference schedule is pretty decent. FAU is 5-3 one win shy of bowl eligibility and a chance to win their conference. Cincinnati is currently 6-1 and leading the AAC, at this rate they're on track to win the AAC. Miami of Ohio is 4-4, 2 wins shy of bowl eligibility. They are within stroking distance of winning their division. All in all, no we didn't have a "Marquee" non conference game...but in retrospect, it also wasn't terrible either
