I got to thinking last night, we need an appropriate nickname for Ryan Day.  Tress, of course, was "The Vest."  Urban was...Urban (nothing further was needed).  Cardale was the "Iron King, Slayer of Badgers, Controller of Tides, etc."  What moniker can we assign to Coach Day?

My submission is the "Yankee Assassin."  When I watch his interactions, I get the sense that he is a very likable guy who will shake the opposing coach's hand, slap him on the back, and ask how the kids are doing...all the while thinking about how to carpet-bomb the other team into oblivion.  Urban liked to play mind games with the opposition, but I think Day has got a bit of Woody's "I couldn't go for 3" mentality.  Woody would have absolutely gone for 70 at The Game last year, and I think Coach Day would have had a crossing route all dialed up and ready for him.
