I'm sure somehow Tua's odds will rise and Haskins will fall, as has been the case pretty much every week this year, but it's looking like Haskins may be the front runner for the trophy now.

Tua was 12/22 for 265 yards and 3 TD's in limited action tonight, but left with a knee injury.

Will Grier is 11/15 for 100 yards and 1 TD to 1 INT

Haskins was 33/44 for for 412 yards and 3 TD's

Haskins season stats through 7 games are 175/242 (72.3%) for 2,331 yards and 28 TD's to 4 INT's

Tua's season stats through 7 games are 88/123 (71.5%) for 1,760 yards and 21 TD's to 0 INT's

Couple that with the fact that Haskins is way more instrumental to his teams success than Tua is and you have a case for who the better MVP is. I firmly believe OSU loses games against TCU, Penn State, Minnesota, and maybe even Indiana if they didn't have Haskins behind center. I don't see the same impact on Bama if they didn't have Tua.
