This piece is for those of you that like a little trivia and looking at a lot of historical scores. Following the trivia and crib notes, you will find a comprehensive breakdown of the series between Ohio State and Minnesota.

  1. Ohio State has lost to Minnesota three times when the Buckeyes were ranked. Two of the years were 2000 and 1981, can you name the first time this happened?

Seven. 1921, 1950, 1980, 1986, 1992, 1996 and 2006. Ohio State is due for another shutout against mighty Minnesota.
