Ohio's Finest
That's right, Warren, we ran off with $150,000 of your secret stash. Now we're going to use it to bet on college football games and there isn't a damn thing your rotten corpse can do about it.

In honor of The Presidential Power Parlay, let's open up the 11W vault and pull from Warren G. Harding's blood money. This year, the power parlay is going to be controlled by you.

You read that correctly, the readers of Eleven Warriors are going to vote to determine how to wager the last of Ohio's most dangerous son's money. During the chaotic closing weeks of the preseason, I was able to sneak into the 11W basement and walk out with several wheel barrel loads of Warren G's cabbage. Shhh, we have $150,000 of Marion's finest's stash to play with.*

YOUR WEEK 7 11W PARLAY VOTING BOOTH

11W Power Parlay Week 6 Results
Game 1: Indiana at Ohio State (-26.5)
Game 2: Tulane at Cincinnati (-7)
Game 3: Wyoming at Hawaii (-3.5)

Another week and another $10,000 down the drain. We came so close to pulling in $60,000. Cincinnati blasted Tulane and Hawaii scored with just over a minute remaining to cover the spread against Wyoming. Ohio State let us down...again. This time, the Buckeyes took a knee in the red zone as they ran out the clock leading by 23 points. Bullocks.

Urban Meyer must not have an ounce of Warren G. Harding's DNA running through his veins. Any Marionaire worth his salt would have ordered Dwayne Haskins to throw a touchdown pass to end the game. Greatness would have ensued in three ways. First, Haskins would have broken Schlichter's single-game passing record. Second, Haskins would have been the first Ohio State quarterback to throw for 7 touchdowns in a game. Third, and most important, our $60,000 celebration party would still be going strong.

What did W.G.H. teach us? Our beloved Buckeyes have now lost in consecutive weeks and both times it robbed us of money. Had Ohio State covered, we would have won $86,000. Instead we, wake up in a Waffle House bathroom soaked in our own urine and feces (presumably our own).

Week 7 Power Parlay

A six-week losing streak must come to an end. There are three teams in the FBS with losing streaks of four games, or more, against the spread. Those teams are: Louisiana Monroe (1-5), Marshall (1-4) and Wyoming (1-5). On the opposite end of the spectrum, Utah State (5-0) is the only team perfect against the spread this year.

So, the masterplan is for us to wager on games featuring teams with losing and winning streaks against the spread. Win all five and our $10,000 turns into a cool $200,000. Lose one game and Warren G. continues to laugh at our futility from his decrepit grave.

11W POWER PARLAY WEEK 7 GAMES
Game 1: Minnesota at Ohio State (-29.5)
Game 2: Marshall at Old Dominion (+4)
Game 3: UNLV at Utah State (-24.5)
Game 4: Louisana-Monroe at Coastal Carolina (-5)
Game 5: Wyoming at Fresno State (-19.5)
The Potential Winnings

If we are able to correctly pick the five winners, the $10,000 will bring in $200,000. Miss on one selection and the $10,000 goes away quicker than a 12-point Penn State fourth quarter lead.

  • To participate, please click on the quiz below (or the link above) to make your picks for the five games.
  • The teams with the most votes will be our community picks for this week's parlay.
  • Don't worry if your pick is deemed correct/wrong, using a "quiz" for the survey and it needed a designated "correct" answer. All favored teams are the "correct" answer.
  • Voting will close Saturday morning.
  • Feel free to share and debate your picks of the games in the comment section.

*Legal note. There is not a stash of $150,000. Win or lose, nobody is making, or losing, any money. This is just for fun.
