Ohio State's J.K. Dobbins is one of 62 running backs on the preseason watch list for the Doak Walker Award, as announced by the PwC SMU Athletic Forum on Wednesday.
Dobbins is coming off a true freshman season in which he rushed for 1,403 yards and seven touchdowns while also catching 22 passes for 135 yards and an additional touchdown. He has also been named as a preseason candidate for the Maxwell Award.

Other notable names among the full list of candidates include the 2017 winner of the Doak Walker Award, Stanford's Bryce Love, and Wisconsin's Jonathan Taylor, who was a finalist for the award last year.
