On Monday morning, Nick Bosa was named to the Maxwell Award and Bednarik Award Watch Lists, which are awarded to the best player in college football and the best defensive player in the country, respectively.

Last season, Bosa was named the Big Ten's Defensive Lineman of the Year, marking the fourth straight season a Buckeye won the award following his brother Joey in 2014-15 and Tyquan Lewis in 2016.
Sophomore running back JK Dobbins was also named to the Maxwell list after rushing for 1,403 yards and seven touchdowns as a freshman.
