There are a few threads alluding to this but I wanted to lay the numbers out there. This each conferences record so far with the number of games left to play. For some conferences, it's unsure exactly how many games are left because we don't know who will win the playoff games yet.
Big Ten: 7-0 with 1 game left to play
SEC: 1-3 with 5 or 6 games left to play
Big 12: 5-2 with 1 or 2 game left to play
ACC: 4-5 with 1 or 2 game left to play
Pac 12: 1-8 with 0 games left to play
So what do we know will be true after all the games are finished?
The B1G will have the highest win percent no matter how the rest of the games play out.
The B1G will have the most total wins as well but it could potentially be a tie. The only way the SEC ties us for wins is if they win every single game and the national championship ends up being Georgia vs Alabama.
I think we have a pretty good argument for being the strongest conference.
