The Kent State search has reportedly gone through 15 coaches, which isn't that surprising given it's one of the worst jobs in D-1 football.
With early signing looming next week, however, the Flashes need to get it moving. According to the venerable Bruce Feldman, former Ohio State offensive coordinator Ed Warinner is a "strong candidate for the job."
The #KentState search has been a meandering one, I'm told. #Minnesota's Ed Warinner is a strong candidate, per source. Heard #KU DC Clint Bowen is also an option, among others.

Warinner, who has yearned for a head coaching job since his days in Columbus, wouldn't be the worst hire.
