Watching the game, Saturday, I felt Ohio State had a firm grip on the game, a sizable lead, and were controlling the trenches on both sides of the ball, going into halftime. I firgured with Ohio State getting the ball first in the second half that Meyer would probably play JT at QB for a few series and then get the backup QB's some reps..........it didn't happen
then, figured that the was no way Meyer wouldn't have a backup QB in to start the 4th quarter.....didn't happen.
Meyer had JT in a QB, in the 4th Quarter throwing fade routes into the end zone, up by 5 touchdowns. I was dissapointed in meyer's decision. Could have gotten reps for the young backups, could have continued to run the ball, but it seems meyer's tunnel vision got in the way of a bigger picture. Almost poetic justice that JT's pass was intercepted in the 4th quarter.
am I alone in wishing Meyer would have played some backups at QB?
Oh well, Buckeyes won. On to Illinois.
