Its obvious the west is weaker than the east. If cross divisional games count against your division w/l record then why shouldn't it also count for the championship. If divisions didn't matter then OSU and PSU would be playing saturday night. The format we have now has hurt OSU the last two years despite only losing 1 game. Is OSU being held to a higher standard? Lose 1 game and your out. MSU lost to a 7 loss NEB team last year and made it in over OSU who lost to a 1 loss team. If OSU would have lost to rutgers this year and beat PSU they would be in. So far i'm not a fan of this format or the championship game.
