Below you will find some interesting facts about the teams, key offensive player stats, coach information, team stats and team schedules.

  2. The Buckeyes have thrown a touchdown pass in 22 consecutive games. The school record is 25 games (1994-1996).
  3. Devin Smith is second on the career touchdown receptions list with 30. Smith is four touchdowns away from tying David Boston (34 TDs) for first all-time.
  4. Joey Bosa has 13.5 sacks and 20.0 tackles for loss this season. Bosa is 1 sack away from breaking Vernon Gholston's single season record of 14 sacks.

Oregon

  • Mariota has thrown at least one touchdown pass in every college game he has played (40 games). He has thrown at least two touchdowns in a game 32 times.

Today's Trivia Questions:

  1. What is the most amount of points Oregon has scored against Ohio State in a single game?
  2. Ohio State is 8-0 against Oregon. How many other teams have at least eight wins and are undefeated against the Ducks?
  3. Ohio State or Oregon will finish the season with 14 wins. Since 1937, how many teams have finished a season with 14 wins?

Third Time is the Charm?
Cardale Jones has led the Buckeyes to consecutive wins in do or die situations. After dismantling Wisconsin 12-Gauge guided Ohio State to a win over the talent-laden Crimson Tide. Can Cardale and the Buckeyes do it for a third time over Oregon?

Seasoned Sophomore
Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 230 yards (11.5 ypc) and 2 touchdowns in the Sugar Bowl. In the past two games Elliott has gained 550 yards (11.3 ypc) and rushed for 4 touchdowns. Just like the last two games, I believe the Buckeyes' championship hopes will rely heavily on Elliott's legs.
