As we all know Diebler was the guy that brought Darius Garland to Vanderbilt, he had a great year there, got drafted to our Cavs, became an all-star, then folded in the playoffs 3 years in a row.
Nowadays, Diebler is our head coach, but I want to go back a little bit before. He was our assistant, the recruiting guy. Every class got worse results-wise after Diebler was hired as an assistant. Then we go ahead and hire him as head coach after two lucky games. Am I wrong in thinking Darius Garland's postseason performance directly exemplifies the state of our basketball program?
