The American League Division Series between the Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners will feature a matchup between two former Ohio State teammates.
Former Buckeye catcher Dillon Dingler (2018-20) plays for Detroit, while former Buckeye outfielder Dominic Canzone (2017-19) plays for Seattle.
It will be Buckeye vs. Buckeye in the ALDS as Dillon Dingler and the @tigers take on Dominic Canzone and the @Mariners in Seattle

Dingler, the Tigers’ starting catcher, came up big in their Game 3 win over the Cleveland Guardians on Thursday, hitting a home run that gave Detroit a 2-1 in its eventual 6-3 win. For the regular season, Dingler hit .278 with 13 home runs and 57 RBIs in 126 games.

Canzone, who plays right field and DHs for the Mariners, is coming off the best regular season of his career as he hit .300 with 11 home runs and 32 RBIs in 82 games this season.
