Ohio State men’s tennis is well-represented in the quarterfinals of the men’s doubles tournament at the U.S. Open.
Three former Buckeyes advanced to the round of eight on Tuesday. First, Ohio State alum Matej Vocel and his partner, Tomas Machac, won their third-round match in three sets to punch their ticket to the quarterfinals.

The all-Buckeye duo of Robert Cash and JJ Tracy – who won the NCAA doubles championship in their final season at Ohio State in 2024 and have continued to play together at the professional level – took down the 10th-seeded duo of Maximo Gonzalez and Andres Molteni in straight sets Tuesday night to advance to the quarterfinals.
