Shipley is a two-time winner on the Korn Ferry Tour this season, earning victories at the LECOM Suncoast Classic in April and The Ascendant in July. He’s earned top-10 finishes in each of his last five consecutive starts. As a result, Shipley is now ranked 85th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
Shipley’s former Ohio State teammate, Maxwell Moldovan, is also looking to climb the ranks of professional golf next season. Moldovan currently ranks 10th in the Fortinet Cup standings for PGA TOUR Americas, the third-tier tour in the PGA TOUR system; if he can maintain his top-10 ranking through the end of the season, Moldovan would earn Korn Ferry Tour membership next season.
