It's not that Ohio State beats Michigan in seemingly everything, it just feels that way, especially in the biggest moments. Now maybe the Maize and Blue will get a second run at it later in the double-elimination tournament, but for now, the Buckeyes got the best of another Wolverine squad today in the first round of the Big Ten Baseball Tournament 2-1.
It was a pitcher's duel throughout as expected with both aces taking the mound. In fact, a run didn't cross the plate until the bottom of the 5th inning when the Wolverines got a run on a sacrifice fly to take a 1-0 lead. It stayed that way until the 8th inning when the OSU was finally able to string a couple of hits together.
