The CBSSPORTS.COM story linked below suggests Amazon might acquire media rights to stream B1G games, noting "The issue is quality of available content."

Fact is, most of this quality B1G content has been spoken for, due to this summer's media rights deals involving CBS, FOX and NBC.

But this CBS Sports story also suggests Amazon could cut a deal to stream quality content, by effectively facilitating further B1G expansion. This expansion would include such PAC teams as Oregon, Washington, Stan and Cal (maybe a few more).

Everybody involved in the B1G deals knows USC and UCLA must have more opponents than each other, within close proximity to make this logistically sensible, for the Trojans and the Bruins.

And though it lost out on the first round of B1G media deals, I can see Apple getting a second chance, by following Amazon's lead.

This is one more way the B1G will get bigger.

I will not be surprised if non-entertainment companies emerge as partners - with much more power than sponsors - willing to make huge investments to add more teams to the B1G.
