I've heard various angles on this:

• LSU is a top 5 college football job where anyone can win a national championship.
• Brian Kelly is a great coach, and only held back by ND's culture / admission standards
• Brian Kelly is a jerk and recruits will notice that.
• LSU lucked into their most recent championship and somewhat backed into the one before that.  
• Good luck in the SEC West with Alabama, ATM, and soon to be Texas (in theory they will be back before the heat death of the universe) and Oklahoma

What do you think?  Personally I'm not sold on LSU or Kelly.  Both good, but I'm not sure I see greatness out of either, even when combined.
