"Ricky Rahne has been on Penn State's coaching staff since 2014, spending time coaching both quarterbacks and tight ends before being promoted to offensive coordinator ahead of the 2018 season. The Nittany Lions went 19-6 in his two seasons in charge of the offense, averaging just over 34 points per game during his tenure. The offense took a slight step forward in 2019, scoring nearly a point more per game than they did in 2018."
Interesting move, and worth mentioning the short list of names who may be considered to replace Rahne in State College:
